Client: Wella / HOB Homecare Prod: IAMBOB Dir/Prod: Martyn Gough DOP: Martin Waine This social media launch campaign for HOB and Wella started off as a tightly scripted narrative covering all the key messages. Making that happen in an organic entertainment TV style was a triumph. Much more watchable on social media and humanised the brand from launch.

Unlocking greater uptake for SaaS brand Glasscubes.com with a 'benefits and features' focussed pitch video. We needed the sales prospect to easily pass on the message to the decision maker but also be able to use it as an explainer video and advert. Ultimately translating a sales-converting landing page into an outreach campaign magic bullet.

PRODUCT BENEFITS PROMO

I have worked closely with SMEs to features and benefits into adverts that say it all in 30 seconds. For hydrotherm.co.uk we reverse engineered the brand and the ambition to create a script and storyboard that conveyed the 'hard to put into words' benefits. It was during the p@n*d*m!c so I self-shot, directed, produced, and edited, using Norfolk's 'Ambulance Station' recording studio to create the sound design.

After graduating from the prestigious BA Graphic Design degree at Kingston I spent 5 years at the BBC. In 15 years of video content production I've created campaigns and content for some of the biggest brands in health and beauty, photography, software, and social media.

A lot of my recent work has an entertainment / reality TV style because it works so well for social media but I also created a comedy drama series for a software giant, have helped SMEs create their first sales boosting TV adverts and 'magic bullet' campaigns, and self-shot hours of music content in the last year.

As a freelance creative I'm familiar with a wide range of budgets and making that investment work harder regardless of size. I'm always surprised how many people think I won't be interested in their thing. I'm a freelancer! I'm just delighted to interact with another human being for a few minutes.
